Joshua Tyler Clark, M.Ed. is a vocational high school assistant principal born and raised in Chicopee, Massachusetts. After graduating in 2011 from Chicopee Comprehensive High School, he earned his bachelor of arts degree in history from Westfield State University. While at WSU, Clark served as the editor-in-chief of The Westfield Voice and the vice president for student life in the Student Government Association. He started as a social studies teacher at his alma mater not long after and began his master of education degree through the College of Our Lady of the Elms in 2017. He is presently completing editing his thesis for a master of arts degree in history at the University of Massachusetts Boston, studying the connection between George Boardman Weston, his third-great-grandfather, and popular travel writing from the 1850s depicting Europe and the Middle East with pedagogical practices. He intends to complete his thesis defense in the fall of 2023. He is an assistant principal at Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School in Northampton, Massachusetts. Clark is the chairman of the Chicopee Historical Commission, the Chicopee Mobile Home Rent Control Board, and the Chicopee City Hall Building Commission.
